I got to see both the CARV and the Terralith die sets up close. I ended up buying the Terralith, but I already regret it. My initial reaction to the CARV set was that it looks like the more sides on the dice, the harder it is to read. But after rolling them both, I actually find the CARV set easier to read than the Terralith, and they rest very comfortable in your hand. Mind you, if you are looking to set traps for your party to rest safely through the night, there is nothing like a bunch of Terralith dice spread on the floor around your camp. Obviously, I have to have both sets. As I'm collecting polyhedral dice, these two sets are as unique as they come, good heavy metal quality that rests comfortably in your hand, and makes a very satisfying 'thunk' when they are rolled. Oh yes, you should probably invest in a dice mat or something, as these dice are death to tables.
